All our installations are carried out to the highest standards by our team, using only the best equipment and materials which are approved for digital reception. Our team always carries out an initial signal assessment to assess the conditions of your local signal reception, establishing the most appropriate practical solution for you.

Our Standard (Satellite) Freesat Installation Options

Dish installations are carried out to the highest recognised standards by
professional installation teams using the latest "Digital Test Equipment" and incorporate "High Quality Materials" which have been approved for satellite TV reception. (LNB's, Cable, Connectors etc).

Standard Satellite Dish Installation Options Include: 

  • Freesat dish installation to a single point or multi room points - This can include twin room feeds for PVR (recordable) type receivers
  • Existing dish upgrades - This covers additional room feeds to an existing dish, this can include twin feeds for PVR's
  • Maintenance call - Lost signal? Our engineer will attend site, check your signals, if required, and possible, re-align your dish, or advise and quote for a dish relocation if you have a Line Of Sight (LOS) issue. Note- LOS issues can include new buildings, or trees covering the signal path from the dish to the satellite, sometimes these can be resolved by moving the dish, but other times they are not able to be resolved. In either case the cost of the maintenance call will remain as a full charge

Our Standard (TV) Aerial Installation Options

TSG Aerial installations are carried out to the highest recognised
standards by professional installation teams using the latest "Digital
Test Equipment" and incorporate "High Quality Materials" which have
been approved for digital reception. Furthermore, our Installation teams
always undertake an initial signal assessment to assess local signal
reception conditions to establish the most appropriate practical
solution.
Digital Aerial Installation Options can Include:

  • Single or multi point TV aerial installation - New TV aerial connected to your TV/'s and tuned in.
  • Additional aerial points - Existing TV aerial working, but you need another point/'s adding to your system, our standard prices cover a splitter, however if you need an amplifier there may be additional costs on the day. The engineer will advise prior to installing.
  • Signal assessment - Existing TV aerial? Initial fault finding and
    diagnostics followed by a quote for the repair. (Minor repairs such as
    connectors re-made, completed within the initial cost)

Our TV Aerial Installation Guidelines and Expectations

All of our 'Standard' aerial installation options are defined as a 'Standard' option requiring a 1 Man installation team to safely install a 'Standard' set
of materials onto a residential property of two storeys or less in height in accordance with HSE/ CAI safety guide lines/ recommendations. (Coverage
restrictions apply) Note: Due the increased levels of digital signals in most parts of the country, aerial installations are predominately completed below gutter level to utilise the property as a physical shield against local interference sources and to minimise signal overloading from more powerful transmitters in the area.

Overview

  • The provision, installation and alignment of a Digital Aerial (High Quality Aerials 5 - 32 Element as Standard) which is suitable for the reception of the desired terrestrial services from the most suitable local transmitter. (Postcode checking is always recommended as coverage restrictions do apply) Note: Signal reception is site specific and dependent upon the local elements such as service availability (effective coverage) / transmission power/ topography and the relationship to physical obstacles (Other buildings/ structures/ hills/trees etc)
  • The provision and installation of standard mounting brackets (Robust Wall/ Fascia Mounting Brackets (Galvanised finish)
  • The provision and installation of standard durable aerial masting (Aluminium/ Steel) up to 6ft as standard
  • The provision and installation of surface mounted down-lead cables (Double Screened) up to 20m in length between the aerial assembly and a suitable position for connection to the customer’s equipment (Digital STB/ DTV Receiver) – The number of down-lead cables installed is dependent up the Freeview installation option purchased. 
  • The provision and installation of suitable (Screened) Passive Splitters to facilitate the defined/ agreed number of signal outlets (Option specific - Multi room options)
  • Each down-lead cable shall be terminated with a durable cable connector (IEC) and connected directly to the Freeview Equipment
  • All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal/external weather covers.
  • A final assessment of received terrestrial services (Freeview) will be carried out to confirm that the new service is operational to agreed levels following the digital aerial system installation.
  • New Aerial Installations includes a 12 Month warranty as standard

What’s not included?

  • Freeview TV or set-top box, or unpacking of the TV
  • More than the purchased number of signal feeds (1 - 4). Note: Further connections may be possible on-site; please ask for details at time of booking.
  • Moving any sockets, whether power, telephone or other, or changing any cabling that was put in by someone else like Sky or BT.
  • Moving fittings, fixtures or heavy items of furniture
  • Redecoration
  • Specialist non-standard brackets or materials
  • Installations on buildings over 2 storeys
  • Listed buildings or buildings in conservation areas.
  • Fitting to chimney stacks
  • Extended cable runs, concealed cabling. 
  • Signal filters, amplifiers or distributors*

Note: You may need permission to install an external aerial in some areas"

Standard Satellite Dish Installation Options Include:

  • Professional & Experienced Installation Engineers
  • A High quality black mesh dish (45 - 65cm) installed
  • Robust standard wall mounting brackets
  • Double screened downlead cables up to 20m (External/Surface Mounted)
  • All digital signals are measured for quality/ signal level 
  • Single or Multi-room Outlet Options are available 
  • A 12 Month Parts Warranty on all new installations

All of our 'Standard' satellite dish installation options are defined as a 'Standard' option requiring a 1 Man installation team to safely install a 'Standard' set of materials below gutter height onto a domestic property of two storeys or less in height in accordance with HSE/ CAI safety guide lines/ recommendations. (Coverage restrictions apply)

  • Octo LNB May be additionally charged on the day if the above has not been confirmed. - Octo = 8 port LNB, Standard installations have Quad (4) port LNB's, each PVR (recordable box) will use 2 feeds, meaning a maximum of 2 boxes on a standard dish/Quad LNB, or 4 boxes on an Octo LNB.
  • Moving any sockets, whether power, telephone or other, or changing any cabling that was put in by someone else like Sky or BT.
  •  Moving fittings, fixtures or heavy items of furniture
  • Redecoration
